Introduction

This school year was fun,we learned lots of things in all of the four main subjects which is L.A, S.S, Science, and Math. Out of the four of them, I think the two things im good at are Science and Social Studies. These are the two subjects that I get good marks on, and the subjects where I do good in tests. The two subjects that I need to improve on are Math and L.A. In math I need to improve on my blogging, weekly quizzes, and my report card mark. For L.A I need to improve on my EXPLORE responses, my goal is to at least get an eight or higher next time. My goal for the next week six weeks of school is to improve my marks on all subjects especially math, do better on tests and quizzes, hand in my homework in time, and to try and get a percentage of 70 or higher on my exams.

Math

Integers

On my math test, the most common mistake I had was forgetting to add when there are 2 negatives together like this (-2) - (-1)

Term 1 reflection

In term one we learned about ratios, rates, and proportional reasoning. To end the unit of ratios, rates and proportional reasoning, we did a math video on sesame street. After that unit we learned about perfect squares, square roots and squares. The last unit we did for term one was the Pythagorean Theory. In Pythagorean Theory, we learned how to find the area of a right triangle and also learned what a hypotenuse is. For term two, I will try and improve by reviewing my mistakes and practising the questions that I do not understand. In term two I would like to improve my grades and do better in my tests and quiz's. I will try to at least get a 80 or above for term two. The last thing I would like to do in term two is to blog more and make more comments on peoples blogs. This is what we learned in term one and how I will try to succeed for term two.

Term 2 reflection
In term 2 the things we learned were about percents, surface area, and volume. I Think this was a unit I did better on then my last one.I think that I did better on this unit because I got better marks on my quizzes. My goal for term 3 is to improve on blogging more, commenting and doing more scribes for term 3. Math is the subject I need to focus the most on because it is my lowest mark on my report card. In this unit I learned how to find different volume and surface area of rectangles, triangular prisms, and cylinders.
